NEET UG's online application form validates your uploaded photo and signature against a strict pixel-dimension and file-size window before it will let you proceed — most portals reject a file outside the stated KB range outright rather than resizing it for you, and some also reject the wrong pixel dimensions even when the file size is fine. The table below lists the exact numbers this exam's form expects. Use the pre-filled resizers further down this page to produce a photo and signature that match them, and always cross-check the figures against the current official notification before you submit, since exact specs can change between recruitment cycles.

VERIFIED against the official NTA Information Bulletin for NEET (UG)-2026 (hosted on the government cdnbbsr.s3waas.gov.in CDN, updated 23.02.2026 version). This CORRECTS one figure from the prior pass and clarifies a real ambiguity: (1) KB ranges confirmed directly from the bulletin (Step listing 'd.i-iii'): Photograph 10-200 KB, JPG/JPEG, 'recent passport size photograph...colour or black & white, with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against white background'; Signature 10-100 KB, JPG/JPEG; Left-and-Right-Hands-Fingers-and-Thumb-impressions (a SINGLE combined image of both hands, not left-thumb-alone) 10-200 KB, JPG/JPEG. The prior pass's figure of 50-200KB for the thumb-impression image is CORRECTED to 10-200KB per this direct reading of the current bulletin. (2) THE OFFICIAL BULLETIN DOES NOT STATE EXACT PIXEL DIMENSIONS anywhere for the online-uploaded photograph or signature -- only the qualitative 'passport size' / '80% face' description and the KB ranges above. The width_px/height_px values given here (275x354 for photo, 275x118 for signature) are the conventional 'postcard-size-ratio' pixel figures widely used by resizer tools and coaching sites, NOT a verbatim bulletin figure. IMPORTANT DISTINCTION FOUND: the bulletin separately instructs candidates to retain '4-6 copies of identical passport size AND 4-6 postcard size Photographs' as physical prints to bring to the exam centre (Appendix-X) -- this is a PHYSICAL/OFFLINE requirement, separate from the digital online-upload photograph, and should not be confused with it. A resizer tool should primarily target the ONLINE upload photo (10-200KB, passport-size ratio) and can separately mention the physical postcard-size print requirement as a distinct checklist item, not the same image. Thumb impression must cover both hands' fingers and thumbs in one image per the bulletin, not left thumb only.
